Polish opera singer (soprano), stage director, teacher, organizer and chairman of the Society of Monyushko Music Lovers. Prima Donna of the Warsaw Bolshoi Theater — National Opera. Soloist of opera houses in Lodz, Lubeck, Leipzig, Hamburg, etc. She made her debut on the stage of the Baltic Opera in 1949 in the opera "Pebbles" by St. Monyushko. In addition to her repertoire, Monyushko has performed roles in operas by dozens of other composers, including Verdi, Wagner and Tchaikovsky. Winner of two international competitions: in Vercelli (1956) and Cherte (1957). In 1978-1998 she was the artistic director of the International Monyushko Music Festival. Honored Worker of Culture of the People's Republic of Poland (1989).
