Hungarian conductor, tutor, composer, music teacher. He was a student of Viktor Herzfeld , Zoltán Kodály and János Koessler . Between 1912 and 1915, he was tutor and then conductor of the Budapest Folk Opera . Between 1915–1920 he worked at the Hungarian State Opera alongside Egisto Tango as an accompanist, and between 1920–1945 as a conductor. Between 1919 and 1935 he worked as a teacher of the National Music .
