Hungarian singer and actor; founding member of the military theater, in which he directed and played. In 1922, he sang the title role in the musical play Foolish Istok at the City Theater. From there, Sándor Hevesi contracted him to the National Theater, where he played the main roles in old, famous folk plays. His radio roles were popular; several records were made with it. The period between the two world wars was the most fruitful for him when he became famous and legendary.
