Italian organ builder. In 44 years of activity he built 430 organs in the Republic of Venice (north-east Italy, Istria and Dalmatia ), in Emilia-Romagna, in Trentino in the Marches, in Malta and in Istanbul. Callido's works represent in the best way the classic Venetian neo-classical organ building typology, that is a type of instrument that is particularly "rational" both from a structural and phonic point of view, particularly "manageable" and simple to use.
