Norwegian singer (bass). He was a regular singer of the theater company of the Christiania Theater and moved to the Nationaltheatre from 1899 to 1905. He taught at the Oslo Conservatory and also at his own Jens Berntsen's Skole. He conducted choirs from time to time.
